The School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University invites applications for one or more non-tenure track Faculty of Engineering Practice position(s) at all ranks. Purdue University seeks to attract exceptional candidates with interests and expertise in automotive, motorsports or sports engineering. Successful candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree, or an MSc. Degree with at least 5 years of professional experiences, in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sports Engineering, or a related discipline by the start date of employment and demonstrate potential to integrate their professional practice with the School of Mechanical Engineering’s research, education, and/or engagement/outreach programs. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate level courses, including both core and elective undergraduate and graduate courses. Additionally, the candidate will offer student experiential learning activities, and support the School through industry outreach, undergraduate and graduate student research activities. The location of this position, including teaching responsibilities, is in Indianapolis.
The School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University is ranked 6th nationally for undergraduate programs, 8th for graduate programs, and 1st for online graduate programs by U.S. News and World Report.
