About Us…

The UNM Foundation was established in 1979 as an incorporated nonprofit corporation. Today, the UNM Foundation is an inter-dependent organization with expanded fiduciary duties to include fiscal, human resources and treasury functions. With 81 employees, the UNM Foundation is one of only 58 University foundations to reach a billion-dollar fundraising goal and who consistently reaches and surpasses its annual fundraising goal of $80 million.
